The partition between the kitchen and the living room was partially removed to maximize natural light to the living room and useable kitchen counter and storage. Soft gray, shaker-style cabinets were combined with marble backsplash, uniform quartz top and minimalist hardware to strike a balance between transitional and contemporary aesthetics.
